In mid-July / July 2019, Xiaomi in Spain introduced us to the expected Android One smartphone. Ide o Xiaomi Mi A3which was a bit disappointing, mainly due to its specifications.
This is the third line of the relatively successful series of Android One phones from Xiaomi.
Android One phones from Xiaomi do not belong to the premium line
Xiaomi's Class A was the Android One brand - that is, phones with clean and constantly updated Android without the MIUI extension. Although this model line has never belonged to the premium class of phones, the latest A3 model did not meet expectations. Compared to the previous A2 model, it does not offer significant improvements.
However, we have good news for fans of Android One phones from Xiaomi. Recent information suggests that a more equipped model will enter the market Xiaomi A3 Pro. Yesterday, the Russian Certification Authority (EZK) granted a certificate to the Xiaomi mobile phone with the code designation M1904F3BG.
Toto označenie je variantom modelu Xiaomi CC9 (M1904F3BT / M1904F3BC).
Xiaomi CC9 for Europe as Xiaomi Mi A3 Pro?
The Xiaomi A3 is a rebranded Xiaomi CC9e with the same parameters. It can therefore be expected that the currently certified phone in Russia will be the equivalent of the Xiaomi CC9, which will be offered on the global market as the Xiaomi A3 Pro. The Pro version of the A3 model was indirectly announced almost immediately after its introduction.
Parameters we can expect from Xiaomi Mi A3 Pro:
So Xiaomi confused us a bit by mixing models. While the previous models were called Xiaomi Mi A2 Lite and Xiaomi Mi A2, in the third Android One series it will be Xiaomi Mi A3 and the improved Xiaomi Mi A3 Pro. The company often uses rebranding in its models, such as recently in Redmi K20, known in Europe as Xiaomi Mi 9T.
One phone, multiple signs? This is common with Xiaomi
For Android One models, this is literally the rule from the first model. Xiaomi Mi A1 was renamed Xiaomi Mi 5X. In the second series again models Xiaomi Mi A2 Lite a Xiaomi Mi A2 were renamed Xiaomi Redmi 6 Pro and Xiaomi Mi 6X.
Now, thanks to that, we will see the image Xiaomi CC9e and Xiaomi CC9 in our country as well, although officially without MIUI, but with the still current Android.
Nothing has been officially confirmed yet
The date of the official presentation of the Xiaomi Mi A3 Pro model and the start of sales are not yet known. We also do not have an official price, but considering the price of the Xiaomi CC9, we can guess the approximate price level. Prices in China for this smartphone start at around 230 € / 5900 CZK. In Europe, the price could stop below €300.
