The new product impresses at first sight with its design. Lamp Xiaomi Mijia Split Camping Light in fact, it offers two uses in one body, thanks to the simple but well-thought-out mechanism of the removable flashlight.
The flashlight thus offers the whole LED light source and when it is inserted into the structure, it serves as a kind of lantern and creates 360º light for more effective luminosity to the surrounding environment. However, it is important to emphasize that these are two lamps that you can use independently of each other.
The light source located inside is designed to emit a much stronger and adjustable light using a rotary control. However, the second light offers a hook for hanging as well as practical carrying. And if you don't need this function, you can remove the internal light and use it as a flashlight.
Of course, this is a device intended for outdoor use. The construction thus offers increased resistance to water and dust, even with IP 54 certification. The integrated accumulator has a capacity up to 4800 mAh and offers endurance 100 hours per charge (depending on the light intensity).
Subsequent charging is handled via the USB-C connector. The connection with the mobile application is also a pleasant bonus Xiaomi Home. You can control the camping light from Xiaomi remotely, directly from your smartphone. And thanks to this, it also supports voice commands via an intelligent assistant XiaoAI, but in the Chinese language.
Price and availability of a new product
A lamp with a name Xiaomi Mijia Split Camping Light is starting to be sold on the domestic, Chinese market through the well-known crowdfunding platform Xiaomi YouPin.
The official selling price stopped at the value 199 Chinese yuan. That's what it does in the current conversion approx. 27 €. We don't have any information about global availability yet. You will have to make do with imports from international sellers.
