Chinese manufacturer Xiaomi brings the second generation of its affordable robotic vacuum cleaner with the designation Xiaomi Mi Robot Vacuum 2C. In its equipment, it will also offer improved navigation in space and also higher vacuuming performance.

Model with marking Xiaomi Mi Robot Vacuum 2C is the second generation of available robotic vacuum cleaner, in which Xiaomi improves the accuracy of cleaning, but also the battery.
New robotic vacuum cleaner My Vacuum Robot 2C has an integrated battery with a capacity of up to 3200 mAh and the suction power of this model increased up to 2700 Pa. This will ensure cleaning up 150 square meters resp. 110 minutes of operation on a single charge, which is definitely an improvement.
But the news does not end here. The second generation also receives an improved processor, thanks to which it is secured more accurately visual wall recognition, but also items in our household. There is also a new room recognition system, so you will also be able to use the popular zone vacuuming.
Improved cleaning system
In addition to sweeping and vacuuming the floor, the novelty also offers an improved cleaning system using the mop function. Thanks to the new 200 ml tank, more efficient wetting of the mop resp. textiles and there is also a new antibacterial material that is able to destroy germs and other bacteria.
The big advantage is also the low thickness of the device, only 8,1 centimeters. The vacuum cleaner can also get under selected TV tables or other types of furniture. There is also a lack of support for overcoming obstacles up to a height of 20 mm (for example, thresholds).
Price and availability of a robotic vacuum cleaner
New with a label Xiaomi Mi Robot Vacuum 2C will be sold at an official retail price of 1499 Chinese Yuan. This amounts to approximately 190 in the current conversion € / 233 USD. The start of sales begins in the Chinese market, but we expect its availability at international sellers such as Aliexpress in the coming weeks.
Following the example of its predecessor, the Mi Robot Vacuum 1C, it is also possible that we will see a global version for use on European Mi Home applications.
