Xiaomi also brings a practical MIUI 12 graphic as part of its new graphic superstructure partial screenshot editor.
It will be integrated directly into the system, as the portal presented in the user video xda-developers.com.
New features in MIUI 12
The latest version of the Android operating system extension from Xiaomi - MIUI 12 - was officially unveiled earlier this year at an event in China. During the event, Xiaomi highlighted some of the new features included in the latest software update.
These innovations include many features, including new animations, navigation gestures, live wallpapers, privacy features, and more. Xiaomi has since introduced an updated "beta" version of MIUI 12 for several devices and even brought several updates with additional new features.
These include features such as support for gesture navigation in MIUI Camera, the new Magic Clone feature, and now partial screenshot editor.
Partial screenshot editor
A new sub-screenshot editor was recently spotted by a forum member on the web xda-developers.com. specifically in version MIUI 12 20.5.25
As you can see in the attached video below, the new sub-screenshot editor will allow, as the name suggests, to delimit a portion of the screenshot by drawing the appropriate shape around the area you need to crop.
The video shows that the new partial screenshot editor can be launched by long pressing the Home button, which will display the floating environment of the new graphic editor at the top of the screen.
The editor provides access to the three editing options via the menu in the upper right corner. These can be used to draw any shape, rectangle or circle around the area you need to capture on the screenshote.
After drawing a shape of your choice, the selected area is highlighted and you have options for capturing again, sharing images, editing an image, or saving it to a photo gallery.
If you are not satisfied with the selection, there is also the option of editing by dragging on either side of the highlighted area. As already mentioned, this new sub-screenshot editor has been released as part of the version MIUI 12 20.5.25 (nightly release) and should be available on any device with that version.
