Xiaomi is preparing to introduce a new smartphone Xiaomi Mi 10 Youthwhich will be presented along with MIUI 12 already on April 27. Until then, however, he reveals the details of both novelties.
Special periscope lens
The new Mi 10 Youth will be equipped with a quadruple camera sensor, one of which will be special, the so-called periscopic lens.
This will be used to zoom the photo while offering up 50x (digital) zoom. 5x optical zoom and 10x hybrid zoom will also be available.
In addition, the sensor will be equipped with quality optical image stabilizationwhich is no longer necessary for comfortable photo shooting with such a massive zoom.
With this feature, the smartphone reaches the level of flagships. A similar lens has so far been used only in the most expensive models, such as the Samsung Galaxy S20 Ultra or Huawei P40 Pro.
Xiaomi states that the lens reaches the equivalent focal lengths from 15 to 122 mm. In addition to the periscope lens, the smartphone gets a high-resolution sensor, a wide-angle sensor and a macro sensor.
The company also published the first sample photos, which were created with the Mi 10 Youth camera, in its official Weibo account. You can see the results below.
Smartphone for young people
Xiaomi Mi 10 Youth, as the name implies, will be a smartphone primarily intended for young people. At least that's how Xiaomi communicates it in her marketing campaign. It will be available in four different colors.
The new smartphone from the Mi 10 series will support 5G networks and expect the well-known Qualcomm Snapdragon 765G processor to be added.
The construction of the phone will be only 7,88 mm thick and the weight will stop at the level of 200 grams. We also already know that there will be a high-quality Samsung AMOLED display on the front.
As the smartphone will be introduced along with MIUI 12, it is very likely that this piece will be the first to receive the latest version of the user interface from Xiaomi.
