Cloud storage is becoming more and more popular. They entice you to easily sync with other devices, so you always have your files available when you need them. Convenience and ever lower prices are aspects that attract both regular and new users who are considering the cloud.
Xiaomi Cloud offers a wide range of options
Xiaomi offers its cloud service XiaomiCloud, which is pre-installed on every Android device with the MIUI extension. You can store photos, apps, contacts, special phone settings, smartphone backups, and more on the cloud.
All this also facilitates the transition to a new phone, where all you have to do is log in to your Xiaomi Mi account and the phone seems to be cloning in a moment. We focused on Xiaomi Cloud and its functions in detail in our article.
New cloud subscription options
As Xiaomi strives to bring its customers the best deals at the best prices, it comes up with completely new options for subscribing to their cloud storage. So far, all Xiaomi Cloud users have 5000 MB available for free and ready to use.
The new plans come in two variants, gold and platinum. Each of them can then be subscribed to 10 or up to an incredible 60 years. With platinum you get 200 GB of storage, while with gold you get 50 GB.
Subscription prices after conversion are less than € 85 for 10 years and € 215 for 60 years for the platinum flat rate. In the golden version, the locals pay less than € 30 for 10 years and € 65 for 60 years. In addition, of course, there are classic prepayments for 1,3,6 and 12 months.
It is estimated that Mi Cloud runs on millions of devices, as MIUI had more than 2019 million users in 291, with 112,8 from China alone. This is also one of the reasons why this long-term subscription feature is currently only available in China on the domestic market.
