Today's Xiaomi conference did not only belong to the new Mi Band 4. The brand of smart home appliances also showed great news - Mijia. They introduced a new one Xiaomi Mijia Smart Washing and Drying Machine Pro.
This is a continuation or an improved version Xiaomi Mijia washing machine with dryer from the end of last year.
Available only in China, at an unbeatable price
Xiaomi Mijia Smart Washer and Dryer Pro is only available on the Chinese market and will probably remain so. Import to Europe would be very expensive for individual orders, and Xiaomi is not yet going to sell his washing machines in Europe yet.
In this way, we can only quietly envy the Chinese. However, it is still worth our attention. In their home China, they will be able to buy it for 2999 yuan, which is calculated 385 € / CZK 9900. The new Xiaomi washing machine offers even more functions than the competition, where Chinese prices start at 590 € / CZK 15. Xiaomi also reigns in the washing machine segment by price - at least on the Chinese market.
Award for design and OLED display
Xiaomi products are not only cheap, feature-packed, they also look good. Many of them carry prestigious design awards. Mijia washer and dryer Pro won right away two design awards - Red Dot Award 2019 a iF Design Award 2019. And there is nothing to be surprised. The design of the washing machine is really breathtaking.
The exterior of the washing machine has square shapes, which makes it look very modern. A distinctive element is a dark black door and it is impossible to overlook even a round one OLED display on the front panel. Apart from the two buttons for switching on and pausing the washing machine, it is the only element on the front.
The display shows information about the washing modes and rotation round controls on the display circuit it is possible to change the mode. Washing modes can then also be selected in the mobile application, which offers even more options.
The front side also contains a drawer for fabric softener, which must be poured to the maximum volume. Washing machine then intelligently decides, how much fabric softener it consumes, given the volume of clothing inserted.
22 washing modes, 11 drying modes
The capacity of the washing machine is 10 kilograms, the dryer can dry a maximum of 6 kg of laundry. The washing machine offers up to 22 wash modes, dryer again 11 drying modes. All modes are optional in the Mi Home application.
Engine power during washing is 1800 W, when drying it is 1200 W or 1400 rpm. The washing machine also has a sterilizing ability and thanks to the higher water temperature, it can remove up to 99,9% of bacteria from clothes.
Xiaomi Mijia Also support Smart Washer and Dryer Pro OTA firmware update. The manufacturer will gradually improve any errors that users report through the application. From the intelligent functions, voice control via the XiaoAI voice assistant is also available.

Xiaomi Mijia Smart Washer and Dryer 1S
Except for the Pro version Mijia Smart Washers and Dryers were also introduced version marked 1S. This model also has a washing and drying function, the capacity of the washing machine is 10 kg, the user can also control it by voice and has the same sterilizing ability.
The equipment also includes WiFi, 21 washing modes and the same powerful engine as in the case of the Pro version - 1400 rpm. Mijia Smart Washer and Dryer 1S will be available on the Chinese market at a price of 2499 yuan, ie 320 € / CZK 8200. This model will also impress with its design and will be available in silver and gold.
Xiaomi Mijia Washing machine 1A
Model 1A is the cheapest of the presented, which belongs to the family Mijia. However, it does not contain a drying function, but only washing. Its price in China was set at 1699 yuan, which it does 220 € / CZK 5600. This washing machine has laundry capacity 8 kg, has 12 wash modes and 97% stain removal efficiency.
The front panel contains the classic control buttons as well as the mode dial. Engine power is 1200 rpm.
Redmi 1S automatic washing machine
The last of the washing machines presented today is an improved model of an affordable automatic washing machine from Redmi. In China, it will be sold for a great 899 yuan, which is the equivalent 115 € / CZK 3000.
It fills from above, has laundry capacity 8 kg and depending on the filling of the drum, it can intelligently adjust the water inflow and electricity consumption. It has 10 washing modes.
