The device consists, following the example of its predecessors, of two parts. One of them is the camera itself, which you place on the outside of your door or fence. The second one is the base, with a 5″ screen that you can place indoors. Both of these devices connect to the Internet using a Wi-Fi connection and do not require an electrical outlet because they also have their own battery.

Smart doorbell Xiaomi Smart Cat Eye 2 offers a high-resolution, level sensor 3 MPx. It supports a wide viewing angle 180 °, as well as an HDR image, with a resulting resolution of 2048 x 1536 pixels. It is also available up to 8 infrared diodes (940 nm), for very clear night shots.
On the base there is a preview display with 5-inch diagonal and resolution 720p. It can show you in real time the person who is ringing the bell in front of your apartment or house. In this case, the integrated battery has a capacity of 8000 mAh, which is enough for 300 days of operation. In real-time space tracking mode, it drops to 150 days.
The camera also offers special functions such as the detection of people in front of the door, with the start of automatic recording.
