Many manufacturers of smartphones, smart watches or fitness bracelets have their own fitness applications, where it is possible to pair devices and monitor their activity. You will know Xiaomi We Fit if another application is officially added soon.
Mi Health in the developer building
New application only so far tested in the new Chinese MIUI Developer 9.7.23 beta build and is therefore officially available only there. However, a user from the well-known XDA forum has managed to remove it from the system and you can download it at this link. No root of the smartphone is needed, the installation will proceed without problems. We also tried the application.
In China, it is customary for each manufacturer to create their own applications because they have several services disabled, including Google. Well Mi Fit is also used there, so Mi Health maybe come as substitute or as an exclusivity for the Chinese market.
Measuring activities, goals or recommendations for better health
Mi Health offers monitoring and measuring activity, as well as other fitness applications. So you can measure and view how many steps you have taken (also in the graph by time period), measure sleep distance traveled or calories burned. For the fairer sex, it also allows you to measure the menstrual cycle by entering the start date in the calendar.
It also includes a function setting goals during the exercise, and thus motivates regular activity. After the activity is performed, the application also offers Health Scores some scoring depending on previously collected data from sleep, steps or BMI (body mass index).
As mentioned above, the application you officially can only install for now Chinese with their developer version of MIUI. If you want to try it too, on APK Mirror is a working apk without the need to root your smartphone
