Xiaomi is no newcomer to the smart TV segment and is also bringing its new flagship with the label to the market Xiaomi TV Master 86″ with Mini LED technology. This display panel will offer up to 4K resolution and a very fast refresh rate of up to 144 Hz.

The new smart TV impresses at first sight with its premium design. The thin construction and thin frames around the display guarantee a very good viewing experience, as evidenced by the design award red dot award 2023. Model Xiaomi TV Master 86″ comes in a huge up to 86″ (216 cm) diagonally, but in addition to size, it also offers top technical specifications.
There is a technology panel on the front Mini LEDs, which uses specific backlighting of individual sections of the screen and also has a high level of brightness 2000 rivets. The screen resolution is 4K (3860 x 2160 pixels) and in addition it also offers a high refresh rate up to the level 144 Hz. There is also support for Dolby Vision IQ, IMAX Enhanced and AMD Free Sync.
Quad-core processor, 70 W audio and rich connectivity
However, the image is not the only important component when it comes to a premium TV. Audio is no less important. Xiaomi delivers a total speaker output of up to 70 W, while the sound is made up of up to 9 transducers, with the possibility of use 3.1 surround sound. Support for the well-known Dolby Atmos standard will also enrich the audio.
An integrated quad-core processor with Cortex-A73 cores will take care of the performance. This processor is also supplemented with 4 GB of RAM and up to 64 GB of internal storage for smart applications.
Considering that it is a smart TV, there is a Wi-Fi connection and an operating system from the manufacturer with the possibility of controlling your smart home electronics in the Xiaomi ecosystem.
Among the present connectivity we can mention 2 x HDMI 2.0 connector, HDMI 2.1 + VRR connector, USB 3.0, USB 2.0, as well as a digital optical connector for connecting e.g. sound bar or home cinema. There is also a connector for an optical cable, an AV port or a connector for an antenna cable. The manufacturer also guarantees that the packaging of this TV will fit diagonally into most personal elevators.
Price and availability of a new TV
New with the name Xiaomi TV Master 86″ is starting to be sold exclusively on the Chinese market, in a black color version. The official selling price stopped at the value 14 Chinese Yuan, which in current conversion amounts to approx. 1985 €. That's certainly not a bad price compared to the local competition, but we don't have any further information on possible global availability yet.
