Our favorite Chinese manufacturer Xiaomi brings something new to its portfolio of soundbars. This is a premium modular Xiaomi TV Speaker 5.1.4 with surround sound and has a 200 W subwoofer.

New premium soundbar Xiaomi TV Speaker 5.1.4 impresses at first glance with its modular construction. You can divide the main module into three separate speakers, thus achieving truly real surround sound for your games or multimedia content.
After dividing the structure, you will be left with one front module and two side speakers. Moreover, these parts are independent, with their own built-in battery and connect wirelessly to the sound source itself.
Apart from this unique construction, this is a really powerful audio device. The total performance is up to 450 W and is divided between 12 converters integrated in individual modules.
In addition, a large one is also available subwoofer with size 8" and performance 200 W. Thanks to this, the device will give you a deep cinema-level experience.
Xiaomi TV Speaker 5.1.4 it also supports Dolby Atmos and DTS-X technology, as well as eARC (with 4K image transmission) and also has a rich set of ports. These are 1 x USB port, 1 x optical audio port, 1 x coaxial port, 1 x HDMI (out) and 1 x HDMI (in). The soundbar comes with a remote control with multiple functions, including an equalizer.
Price and availability of the new modular soundbar
New with the name Xiaomi TV Speaker 5.1.4 it goes on sale so far only on the domestic, Chinese market. The official selling price stopped at the value 3999 Chinese yuan.
In the current recalculation, this is approximately 527 €. However, we do not yet have any further information on possible global availability. So you have to make do with the offer of international sellers.

JBL has had this rear speaker separation system for a long time. Availability is questionable (mainly when) and the price will be significantly higher for the EU, i.e. that for that price I will also buy a good soundbar from good brands.
