We couldn't resist and we ordered them too

We also liked the Xiaomi Watch S1 Active smart watch and we decided to buy it. Our order came from the DHgate shopping portal from the "mi668 Store" retailer, who offered the watch from a German warehouse. We made the payment on April 19, and on that day we received a message about sending the package.

The delivery itself was extremely fast and lasted only 2 days! Some Slovak or Czech e-shops do not deliver so quickly. The package was delivered to us by the SPS courier.

So far, we have only managed to unpack the watch and try it out. However, we are already extremely interested in them and they offer a really wide range of functions. As soon as the watch is started for the first time, it is necessary to pair the watch with a smartphone via the Mi Fitness application, otherwise the watch will not work.

The interesting thing is that immediately after switching on, there is also a choice Czech language, which remains active in the watch even after pairing with a phone where Slovak is set. Some Xiaomi watches / bracelets didn't know this before.

The watch is relatively light and its construction is made of hardened plastic. However, their low weight is an advantage in sports, when you won't even feel them on your hands. We also appreciate the beautiful color AMOLED display, which achieves really high brightness values.

Sportier design and AMOLED display

The model will be available in three colors - Moon White, Ocean Blue and Space Black. The dimensions of the watches themselves are 45,6 x 47,3 x 11 mm and weight only 36,3 grams. The strap has a classic 22 mm, so it will not be a problem to replace it with any other.

On the right side there are two control buttons, which have descriptions Home and Sport. One will take you to the watch's homepage, the other is for quick access to sports activities.

The frame itself is not metal, but it is made of a special material called Polyamide, which is additionally reinforced with glass fibers. The display covers a toughened protective glass. The whole construction is waterproof according to the certification 5 ATM.

Speaking of display, it is made by technology AMOLED, so you can look forward to rich colors, great black and above - average readability in direct sunlight. The diagonal is 1,43 inches with a resolution of 466 x 466 pixels and a refresh rate of 60 Hz.

NFC payments, call support and Amazon Alexa

The watch has its own operating system, so Xiaomi did not deploy the popular Wear OS from Google. The environment has many animations, colored icons and there is also support for the Czech language. Slovak may come in some update. It will please the built-in microphone and speaker for calling directly through the watch. Thanks to this, you will also use the built-in assistant Amazon Alexa.

The watch itself has Wi-Fi and Bluetooth version 5.2. He's not missing GPSwhich also includes GLONASS, GALILEO, BDS and QZSS. The great news is the presence NFC chip, as we already know from the smart bracelet Xiaomi Band 6 NFC.

The watch currently supports NFC payments via Mastercard card. We are unable to confirm whether Curve is available, where any additional cards such as VISA can be added.

The present sensor on the underside of the watch reliably measures heart rate, blood oxygenation, SpO2 and sleep. Smart watches are able to measure up 117 sports activities.

Great endurance on a single charge

The manufacturer says up to 12-day endurance on a single charge. When measuring activity using GPS, this is a 30-hour endurance. You charge the watch with a magnetic wireless charger, which fully charges in about two and a half hours.
