GCam 8.4 brings several mobile photo enhancements
Google has updated its mobile photo app GCAMwhich is part of the equipment series pixel, practically since their inception. It is software that improves the photographic result of mobile photography. The good news is that this application is not limited to Google smartphones, thanks to developers who are constantly optimizing it for competing devices as well.
And the BSG development team has just released a new version of the application GCam 8.4, in an optimized version for up to seven smartphones from the Xiaomi ecosystem. The aim is also to make the most of the photographic possibilities of each of these devices.
This is how you download and install the GCam 8.4 application
One of the main benefits of the application GCAM is, of course, a clear improvement in software image management. In this case, GCam has version 8.4 new algorithms, which improve the shooting of photos in low light, but also represent a significant "upgrade" in the level of white balance.
The version from the BSG development team's workshop is specially designed to run smoothly on the following devices from the Xiaomi ecosystem:
- Redmi Note 10 Pro
- Redmi Notes 10
- Redmi Note 7 Pro
- Redmi Notes 7
- POCO X3 Pro
- POCO X3NFC
- POCO X2
Although these are devices on which the development team guarantees optimization, if you want to try another Xiaomi device, the editorial test has shown stable operation. GCam 8.4 for example on a flagship device Xiaomi Mi 11. However, we recommend that you choose secondary device, which you can restore to factory settings in case of any problems, without complications or data loss.
Whatever you decide, the way to install the .apk file is very simple. This is practically the same procedure as for any Android application on the Internet outside the Play Store. All you have to do is download GCam .apk file at the following link, and allow installation with external sources in the smartphone settings.
