It seems that the company Redmi working on a new monitor. It should offer a 144-hertz refresh rate and a low price tag. This was confirmed by the latest certification.
We will see the Pro version
Basic model Redmi Display 1A we already met in 2020 and the novelty should add the word Pro to the title. This basic monitor is relatively inexpensive, offering Full HD resolution and 1000: 1 contrast.
The latest leak comes from TÜV Rheinland, which guarantees that the new monitor from the company Redmi will be certified. As we can see from the certification, the name of the monitor should be Redmi Desktop Monitor 23.8″ Pro with model designation RMMNT238NFS.
Website Certipedi to confirmed this device in its web database on behalf of Xiaomi Communications Co., Ltd. The registration number RMMNT238NFS was also revealed.
That means a new monitor Redmi Display 1A Pro or Redmi Desktop Monitor 23.8″ Pro will have a screen capable of filtering blue light, which is the most harmful to the human eye.
We expect this
So far, that's all the information we have. Since this is a Pro version of an existing monitor, we think that both models will share a common design with a slim profile and a stand with adjustable tilt.
We'll find a 23,8-inch IPS panel on the front, but this time the name Pro should mean a higher refresh rate. Some leaks speak of up to 144-hertz frequency.
On the back there will be a palette of connectors, we are talking about HDMI 2.0 and DisplayPort in version 1.4. The basic monitor also has a VGA connector, so we are curious if this old connector will arrive this year as well. Players are sure to enjoy support for AMD FreeSync and NVIDIA G-Sync.
And the last mystery is the price. As the price of the basic model is around 100 euros, we expect it up to a maximum of 150 euros for this model.
