A subsidiary of the Chinese manufacturer Xiaomi, Redmi, brings to the global market its affordable laptop with the name RedmiBook 15. The equipment offers a 15,6 ″ Full HD display with DC Dimming technology, Windows 11 Home or even an Ethernet port.
This is Xiaomi's first global laptop in about three years. In 2019, they brought the Mi Notebook Air 13.3 to global markets, which was not very successful, but this time they want to try it with a more affordable model.

RedmiBook 15: Global version of the notebook with an 11th generation Intel Core processor
Xiaomi as its parent brand introduces its first, affordable RedmiBook already on the global market. This is a really interesting device given that it has no Chinese equivalent. This is a new product that was developed and planned directly in its global version. Although we do not yet know its availability, we were extremely interested in this product.
The notebook has a quality metal construction with a level thickness 19,9 millimeters. The total weight of the product does not exceed 1,8 kilograms, so frequent carrying or carrying in a backpack will not be a problem. There is also a large trackpad for comfortable work (126 x 82,6 mm) or even stereo speakers (4 W power). This is the notebook connector:

Another positive that we need to highlight is the screen. It has a diagonal 15,6 ″, Full HD resolution, but also an anti-reflective layer, so you can enjoy the image without glare. Technology is also available DC Dimming, and the maximum brightness is 220 rivets.
The integrated processor takes care of the performance Intel Core 11th Generation. Due to the configuration, it is an Intel Core i3-1115G4 (Intel Iris UHD) resp. Intel Core i5-11300H (Intel Iris Xe). The processor will also be supplemented with 8 GB of DDR4 RAM and 256/512 GB of internal SSD storage.
The operating system will be available on the software side Windows 11 Home, in the local version, depending on the region. The equipment also includes a front camera with HD (720p) resolution. The 46 Wh battery should offer a total endurance of up to 10 hours per charge. New RedmiBook 15 will support fast charging up to 65 W, with which you can charge 50% of the battery in just 33 minutes.
Price and availability of a new laptop
Laptop with global designation RedmiBook 15 should also be sold in Europe, on the Slovak and Czech markets. However, we do not yet know the official sale price or the start date of the sale. We in the newsroom expect this product to be available in the coming weeks.
