Xiaomi is undoubtedly one of the innovative companies that always want to bring customers a great user experience. Most recently, the Chinese giant focused on its MIUI 12 superstructure, specifically on its photo application.
Dedicated long exposure mode
Team member XDA-developers discovered in the MIUI 12 superstructure code interesting information about the new long exposure mode. As it turned out later, this mode also got into its photo application POCO F2 Pro as part of MIUI 12 beta.
In the screenshote from the camera application, we can see that Xiaomi is trying to bring its users useful functions, such as we can know from the excellent GCam application from the American Google.
Feature downloaded from Google Camera
The new shooting mode will allow you to more easily capture remarkable images of the night sky, the "smooth" surface of the sea or various light trails. This is a very useful upgrade that many of us will love.
Above you can see how brilliantly Google Pixel 4 handled night photos. Xiaomi also tries to entice fans to prefer to use the photo application directly on the phone before porting GCam.
You will definitely need some form of stabilization to take a beautiful night photo. Whether you use a random wall, ground or tripod designed for this, this factor will be very important for sharp and clear photos.
We expect the availability of this feature on other devices with the arrival of the global version of MIUI 12 or in the form of an update. If you have any observations that you would like to share with us, feel free to write in the discussion below the article.
Do you think anyone will do with Xiaomi Mi A2 in the middle? Neither GCam nor app from MIUI… It annoys me
