No less popular devices of the Xiaomi brand are smart watches. These are produced in cooperation with the subsidiary Huami, which is also behind, for example, the well-known Mi Band bracelets. However, Huami also started producing full-fledged smart watches and their latest piece, Amazfit Verge, is officially coming to our markets.
Cheaper in our country than in China
It is not usual for Xiaomi brand products, but also for Chinese products in general, to cost less on the Slovak and Czech markets than when ordering from China. In the case of Amazfit Verge, however, this is indeed the case. For example, at a Chinese retailer Banggood after applying the 49verge coupon, the price drops to 131 € / CZK 3400. However, this is still not enough for Slovak and Czech e-shops.

According to price comparator Heureka, the lowest price in Slovakia it starts at 126 €, while in the Czech Republic it is a little over 3200 CZK. The low prices are due to the official distribution of these smart watches, so Xiaomi sells them officially on our market, with a 2-year local warranty.

Amazfit Verge excel 1,3-inch AMOLED display, which, unlike LCD technology, offers unrivaled color rendering, true black and perfect viewing angles. The display resolution is 360 × 360 pixels.
User has possibility to set dials with a sleek hand-look or sportier versions with information on current heart rate, battery status and number of steps. You don't even have to worry about damage or scratches. The display is protected by tempered glass Gorilla Glass 3.
S dual core 1,2 GHz processor and 512 MB RAM, the watch has the same performance as the Stratos and Pace models. The user will be pleasantly surprised as well long battery life. Official sources say about 5 days, but when using only some functions, the watch can handle it as well a few extra days. It will also please you quite a bit fast charging via a special charger that lasts about 2 hours.
For sports fans
Amazfit Verge easily outperforms fitness bracelets. He can do it 11 sports modes - from football to tennis and cycling to casual walking. There is also support for activities performed at home or in the fitness center, whether it is an exercise bike, treadmill or elliptical trainer.
Considering lack of watertightness however, we will not find swimming here, so if you are a water type, you should rather reach for the Stratos model.
When performing an activity, the watch records your sports time, distance traveled, average and maximum speed, as well as heart rate information. The recorded heart rate can be clearly viewed on a graph and there is also a classification of a specific heart rate into categories such as warming up, fat burning or cardio training.
At the same time, many activities are accurately tracked using GPS and GLONASS, so in the final we have a map with the route. Let's mention another possibility continuously monitor heart rate all day. Due to battery life, the measurement is performed at regular intervals and not constantly.
