We have a massive leak of information regarding the upcoming smart bracelet from the Chinese giant Xiaomi. Mi Band 7 is again to be the best choice in the segment of cheap smart bracelets on the market.
Again, some innovations
This information appeared on the forum Geeking, where they were published by Magical Unicorn. The design will be one of the biggest changes of the next generation. The shape will resemble the device Redmi Smart Band Pro, so he will have competition in his own stable.
Its code number is L66 and just part of the source code revealed this information to us. Xiaomi is likely to shrink the frames again and enlarge the screen. The display resolution should be 486 x 192 pixelswhich is more than 486 x 152 in the case My Band 6 and the design will be slightly more curved.
There is also the possibility of activation Always-On display, so it will only be up to the user or preferred to turn on the display over longer battery life. It will also be a novelty of this generation. The disappointment of the Mi Band 6 was the absence of a GPS chip. That should change in the new generation. The chip in Mi Band 7 is said to be compatible with GPS, GLONASS, BeiDou, Galileo and QZSS.
Mi Band 6 also came to the global market later in NFC versionbut Mi Band 7 comes with NFC already in the basic configuration, so you can use it in the store for contactless payments.
And what about the price?
There will be more than enough innovation, but how will this be reflected in the final price? Mi Band 6 has already increased the price a bit and it is obvious that this will be the case this year as well. The price should be somewhere in the level 50 EUR, while certainly not exceeding the 60-euro limit.

I also use NFC payments on band 6 NFC. I appreciate the GPS at 7.
I had all versions of the Mi Band from 2 to the current 6 (without NFC), but version 6 has, in my observations, the largest number of false long session alerts. Previous versions reported only when I sat for a really long time, but 6 has no problem alerting me while walking. I wonder if it will improve at 7. I'm excited.
