Information about the equipment was shared by a tipster with a nickname Smart Pikachu, on his profile on the Chinese social network Weibo. The contents of this post are various details regarding the flagship series.
For example, it reveals that the entire Xiaomi 15 series will be equipped with the latest flagship chip. It will be a new generation Qualcomm Snapdragon 8 Gen 4, which, however, is currently not yet presented. However, the information matches previous leaks on the Internet.
Back in December 2023, we witnessed further information, this time from a well-known tipper at the workshop Digital Chat Station. He claims that the base model Xiaomi 15 should offer a compact OLED diagonal display 6,36" and a high refresh rate of up to 120 Hz.
1,5K screen resolution and delivery as early as October 2024?
The Smart Pikachu leak counters the information that the base model's display could offer 1,5K resolution. In addition, mass production of the entire Xiaomi 15 series, regardless of how many models it will contain, could start as early as September 2024.
If it were to be confirmed, the first shipments of the devices could start as early as October 2024. Of course, we are talking about the Chinese version, which is usually presented earlier, compared to the global version.
Last year's Xiaomi 14 series it was presented for the first time in China, in October 2023. So we can deduce the arrival of new generation flagships from this date as well.
