Our favorite Chinese tech giant Xiaomi is preparing an update of its graphics superstructure under the name MIUI 15. And we already know 20 smartphones that are confirmed to receive the new generation of this software.

Every manufacturer that uses a software graphics superstructure on their models must also think about updating it. In the case of the Chinese manufacturer Xiaomi, however, it is not only about adapting the new version of the operating system from Google, Android 14. New functions as well as the optimized user interface MIUI is receiving its fifteenth generation this time.
As with previous updates, this year we have some older devices that will no longer receive the update. This is because devices have a different life cycle when it comes to software updates. However, we already know the first devices that, on the contrary, will definitely receive this new MIUI 15 update.
The first pieces from different price categories
The range of updated devices in the first wave of MIUI 15 distribution is also interesting. Of course, all models launched this year, for example Xiaomi 13Ultra as the most advanced model. And also Redmi 12C as the cheapest of all. However, we also find a popular tablet here, XiaomiPad 5, which enjoyed good sales also on the Slovak market.
What we are talking about today are 19 Xiaomi phones whose “builds” or pre-ROMs have already been revealed. We are not talking about stable ROMs, but rather beta versions of them that are under development. This first wave of MIUI 15 should not begin to be distributed to users before the end of this year.

So we do not yet know the exact update plan for the fifteenth version of the MIUI superstructure. However, Xiaomi is a manufacturer that is known for distributing updates in multiple waves. So if you don't get the update on your device at the beginning, it is possible that it will appear in one of the later packages of the aforementioned distribution.
