Xiaomi 14 Ultra: This is what the premium flagship will look like
In addition to the Chinese market, the new device Xiaomi 14Ultra a global customer will also see. All global devices from the Xiaomi 14 series should be presented already on February 25, 2024, at the Mobile World Congress exhibition in Barcelona. This also applies to the Ultra version, which has now also leaked high-resolution graphic renders.
The high-resolution renders were published by a well-known source MySmartPrice and they confirm that Xiaomi is really serious about its Ultra smartphone. We know the black and silver color version. The primary visible change is the modified design of the rear camera module with output in the form of gold or silver hoop.
The placement of the Leica branding and placement of the camera sensors along with the LED flash is very similar compared to the predecessor, Xiaomi 13Ultra. The power button and volume control are located on the right side of the device.
What will be the layout of the elements of the new device?
The aforementioned power button will have a textured surface that improves grip and tactile recognition in everyday use. Along the edges, on the metal parts, there are also plastic parts for the passage of the signal from the antennas.
The bottom edge is then home to the speaker grille, USB Type-C port and primary microphone. However, the position of the speaker and the primary microphone is changed on the upcoming device, compared to the previous generation.
The left side will be blank (except for the antenna label). The black color version will offer a textured surface, and both versions will likely arrive with artificial leather. The Xiaomi smartphone logo will be located on the left side of the back wall.
The leaked renders have not yet revealed the design of the front wall and the layout of the elements around the display. We will have to wait a few days for these details, until the start of the MWC 2024 exhibition.
