It was only a matter of time before society POCO will launch some smart watches. It seems that we are very close to it, because such a device has been certified in the EEC.
First POCO smart watch
Via information on Twitter from well-known whistleblower Piyush Bhasarkar, we learned that the company's first smartwatch POCO have passed certification EEC.
This confirmed two pieces of information. The first one, that POCO is actually planning to launch the first smart watch, and the second is that we will see this product officially on the global market.

The smart watch was certified in the EEC under the designation M2131W1. They will be produced by 70mai, which is a historical collaborator of Xiaomi.
However, we did not learn any more detailed information from the certification regarding the design or specific specifications. It will have big players like Huawei, Amazfit or even parent Xiaomi in the given segment.
We don't even know if it will be an elegant round watch or a rectangular, more sporty watch, nor any approximate launch date. But it is good to see that this brand has also moved in the field of wearable electronics and will start introducing products from its own stable.
New or rebranded model?
There is also the question of whether it will really be a new product or, as the brand does, on smartphones, it will take an existing product and "stick" its logo there.
If we look at Xiaomi's portfolio, it could be a model xiaomi watch s1 designed for the global market. There is also the possibility of a watch Redmi watch 2 lite, but it probably wouldn't make much sense there, as they are already being sold on the global market.
