The Redmi company has introduced another model to the Note 12 series. The new product, named Redmi Note 12 Turbo, is the most powerful Redmi Note model in the history of this series, it scores with a high-quality display, cameras and a new processor that is comparable to last year's high-end models.

The design fits in with the range
It does not differ in design from the rest of the series. Again, I have a device with sharp edges with dimensions 161,11 x 74,95 x 7,9 mm and weight 181 grams. It comes in the colors Carbon Black, Xinghai Blue and Ice Feather White.
Up front, the allure is in the form 6,67-inch AMOLED resolution display 2 x 400 pixels, 120-hertz refresh rate, 240-hertz frame rate and maximum brightness up to 1 rivets.
The display can display 12-bit colors, has 100 percent coverage of the DCI-P3 spectrum, and the selfie camera in the small shot has a resolution of 16 MPx.
The most powerful member of the series thanks to Snapdragon 7+ Gen 2
The Redmi Note 12 Turbo smartphone also wants to score in terms of performance and brings a new processor Qualcomm Snapdragon 7+ Gen2 with 5G support. It is a 4-nanometer chipset, which is very similar in performance to last year's Qualcomm Snapdragon 8 Gen 1 flagship.
For example, in the well-known AnTuTu Benchmark this processor achieved a score of more than the famous 1 million points, in the Geekbench 5.4 Multi-core test with 3970 points it even surpassed the Snapdragon 8 Gen 1 processor. To run the system Android 13 with superstructure MIUI 14 fits the most 16 GB RAM type LPDDR5x and up to 1-terabyte storage UFS 3.1. That's really top-notch performance for a mid-range smartphone, and it's the largest memory capacity ever used in the Redmi Note smartphone series. There is a 3 mm steam cooling chamber for heat dissipation.
64 MPx with OIS and 67-watt charging
The main rear camera has a resolution 64 MPx with optical stabilization, then an 8-megapixel ultra-wide-angle sensor and only a 2-megapixel macro. You can shoot videos in high quality 4K at 30 fps. The interesting thing is that it is still on the body 3,5 mm audio jack.
In addition, there is Wi-Fi 6, Bluetooth 5.3, NFC and stereo dual speakers. The body has an integrated battery with capacity 5 mAhwhich supports 67-watt charging. Such a powerful adapter is of course already included in the package.
The prices in China are fantastic
So far, this piece has only been officially presented on the Chinese market, and we have no information whether it will also arrive in Europe. However, it is speculated that in the global market this smartphone should be available under the name POCO F5. At Xiaomi, we are already used to such name confusions.
Xiaomi has set the following prices for the Chinese market:
- Redmi Note 12 Turbo 8 + 256 GB for 1 yuan (999 euros)
- Redmi Note 12 Turbo 12 +256 GB for 2 yuan (099 euros)
- Redmi Note 12 Turbo 12 + 512 GB for 2 yuan (299 euros)
- Redmi Note 12 Turbo 16 GB + 1 TB for 2 yuan (599 euros)
