Spoločnosť Redmi officially announced when we will see new smartphones, specifically series Redmi Notes 11. On the same day, it will also present a new generation of smart watches Redmi Watch 2.
Improved design
Spoločnosť Redmi has officially unveiled a poster showing the new generation of watches Redmi Watch 2 and also added an official reveal date. Fans of the brand should beware.
The date on the poster is 28/10/2021 at 19:00 Chinese time. The smartphones of the series will also be presented at the same time Redmi Note 11. But it will be a Chinese conference.
Same as first generation, here too the watch will stick to the square format. Where the change occurs is the display. Redmi it will deploy a larger display, but the dimensions of the watch should not increase dramatically. The company achieved this by reducing the frames around the display, which were quite massive in the first generation.
The watch will probably continue to be plastic, but the advantage is that it will be really light. We also wonder if Redmi / Xiaomi will stick with the special fastening of the straps or use the classic fastening.
There is still room for improvement
In addition, the new smart watch would also come with improved hardware and more advanced measurement features. A welcome novelty would be, for example, a blood oxygenation meter.
Maybe animations will finally be added to the system. There is definitely something to improve compared to the previous model. The price should not increase in any way and the watch will be the gateway to the smart world.
It is quite possible that this watch will appear on the global market under the name Xiaomi Watch 2 Lite. The same was true of the first generation. We also tested it in our editorial office and our detailed one review you can read on the sister site ChinaPlanet.
