The brand's upcoming flagship series Xiaomi it will consist of several models. Xiaomi 14 Pro however, it probably won't see its global version. This is an unpleasant surprise compared to previous generations, which were also presented to customers in Europe.
Xiaomi 14 Pro: Will it stay only with the Chinese version?
Xiaomi officially introduced the Xiaomi 14 series two months ago, on the domestic, i.e. Chinese, market. All smartphones in the series are powered by the latest Qualcomm Snapdragon 8 Gen 3 processor Xiaomi 14 a Xiaomi 14 Pro.
If we look at last year's series, Xiaomi 13 and also Xiaomi 13 Pro were also officially launched in a global version, for the international market. The only thing missing was the "Ultra" smartphone, which remained exclusive to China. However, this year the situation is different and according to the latest information, Xiaomi will not launch the global version of the Xiaomi 14 Pro.
These are the last internal builds
The Xiaomi 14 Pro is the latest premium model from Xiaomi, offering really top technical specifications. It differs from the basic model in that it has a larger up to 6,7″ 2K AMOLED panel, and there is also 120 W fast charging and a camera aperture of f/1.46. The rest of the specifications are practically the same.
But what do the internal reports indicate? The latest internal build of MIUI for Xiaomi 14 Pro is MIUI-V15.0.0.1.UNBMIXM. And it is the Chinese HyperOS that is actually renamed MIUI 15. In the photo, however, the software for the European region is marked as OS1.0.0.4.UNBEUXM.
This is because Xiaomi has made changes to the server after the MIUI 15 builds were leaked to us. So Xiaomi has stopped the development of the global version of HyperOS for Xiaomi 14 Pro. And this confirms the theory that the Xiaomi 14 Pro is unlikely to be launched in the global market. The last internal test of the global version for the Xiaomi 14 Pro took place two months ago.
And how is the base model Xiaomi 14? The latest internal builds are OS1.0.1.0.UNCEUXM, OS1.0.1.0.UNCMIXM and OS1.0.0.8.UNCINXM. The smartphone is expected to be officially launched in the global market in January 2024. Other specific versions such as the Indian version will arrive even later.

I'm curious when the basic X14 will arrive anyway
Xiaomi presents new flags for the global market every year in February-March. We expect that this will also be the case in 2024.
I personally don't mind the B20, it doesn't fail and it will never fail, 5G networks are already in full development and we all have 5G networks, that's important.. the same with Vivo or Oppo, but Xiaomi will always be better because or at least as long as it's here still rom from miuios cz with functional modules/patches/fixes against google..
