After speculation and leaked specifications, we already have the official presentation of the latest gaming laptop from Xiaomi. Mi Gaming Laptop 2019 has a processor in the TOP version 9th generation, RTX graphics and 144 Hz display!
The notebook comes in three performance versions. The price of the basic model ranges from 7499 yuan - 970 € / CZK 25, where we expected a lower price tag.
The design remained the same
There was also talk of possible design changes, but that one remained identical with its predecessors. It has the same number of fans and ports, 15,6 ″ display remained with the same frame and the color keyboard has the same layout. The change is a shade of gray, which looks darker.
144 Hz display
But there were quite big changes under the hood. While the appearance is identical, 15,6 ″ FHD display got it 144 Hz refresh rate, which will surely please especially players. 81% front cover coverage remains the same as the 72% color scale.

Common specifications
All models include dual-band Wi-Fi and Bluetooth 5.0. As for the audio, it's inside 2 x 3 W speaker with Dolby Audio. There is a 1 MPx HD webcam on the front.
Connectivity is rich in 4 x USB 3.0 ports, Ethernet port, microphone port, AUX port, HDMI and card reader. The dimensions are the same as the predecessor (364 x 265.2 x 20.9 mm) and the weight is a bit less, 2,6 kg instead of 2,7 kg.
Backlit keyboard and 4,5 hours endurance
Mi Gaming Laptop 2019 has backlit 4-color LED keyboard with 3 different modes, a glass touchpad with gesture support and the Windows 10 Home operating system. The battery has capacity 55 Wh and stamina 4,5 hours when watching a video or using a browser a 4 hours when streaming video.
Prices of all models
It is currently only available in China and we will be waiting for sales at well-known retailers. The basic model received a price tag 7 yuan - 499 € / CZK 25, high-end model standing 8 yuan - 599 € / 28 700 CZK and the most powerful TOP model 8 yuan - 999 € / CZK 30. Sales in China should start on August 15 / spring.
