Spoločnosť Xiaomi will present its new folding smartphone with the label tomorrow Xiaomi MIX Fold 2. And we already know the design of the device, as part of the leaks, which also revealed the ongoing collaboration between the Xiaomi and Leica brands.
Xiaomi MIX Fold 2: Ultra-thin design and cooperation with the Leica brand
Brand press conference Xiaomi is fast approaching. And we will see the second generation of foldable smartphone in a few hours Xiaomi MIX Fold 2". Thanks to the leaked images from Equal Leaks, we already know what this smartphone will look like in terms of design.
The most interesting information is precisely that cooperation with the brand Leica will continue even in the case of folding equipment, similar to what was the case with series of flagship models Xiaomi 12S. In addition to the unique design, the manufacturer also thought of the no less important and key area of mobile photography.
As you can see in the pictures above, new Xiaomi MIX Fold 2" improves some features that were the target of criticism in the first generation of the product. For example, these are much smaller frames around the secondary AMOLED display on the front of the device.
The front camera on the secondary display is still located in the middle, in the shot, at the top of the panel. We do not yet know the resolution of this camera. Curiously, if we take information leaks into account, the equipment does not feature a fingerprint sensor. However, it is possible that the manufacturer integrates an optical reader under the display.
But let's move on to the back of the device. Xiaomi brings rear cameras located in a rectangular module at the top of the device. This is a design used by some, for example POCO smartphones, and includes three sensors along with a large LED flash and the logo of the German company Leica.
The latest Snapdragon and 8,02″ 120 Hz display
It is expected in the smartphone equipment 8,02″ foldable AMOLED type screen OLED Eco2. It will offer a resolution of 2,5K, as well as a refresh rate of up to 120 Hz, an ultra-thin protective glass and a camera located below the level of this panel. In terms of construction, the folding smartphone itself will be record thin. The total thickness should stop at a value of only 5,4 mm (in the unfolded state), which is just enough to accommodate the USB-C connector for charging. It is available after assembly final thickness 11,2 mm. The weight of this device should be around 262 grams.
The flagship processor takes care of the performance Qualcomm Snapdragon 8+ Gen1, made with a 4 nm manufacturing process, this time from TSMC's workshop. It should be supplemented with the appropriate configuration in the form of 12 GB of RAM + 512 GB of internal storage or 12 GB RAM + 1 TB internal storage.

We do not yet know the exact technical specifications of the cameras, but all information points to the main one 50 MPx sensor Sony IMX766. It should be complemented by a 13 MPx ultra-wide-angle lens and a sensor with an optical zoom function (minimum 2 x optical zoom).
