Xiaomi already has a smart heater with a power of 2200 W
With the cold, winter season approaching, many customers are already looking at devices designed for heating an apartment, house or workplace. Xiaomi wants to build a place in this product category as well, as evidenced by the new graphene heater with the official label Xiaomi Graphene Baseboard Electric Heater.
The new smart heater has a matte dark color design and a design made to be placed on the floor. It has dimensions of 125 x 17 x 22 centimeters, so it is quite compact and you can place it even in smaller rooms. The weight is 11,5 kilograms, which you have to think about especially when carrying it.
IP X4 certification and Xiaomi Home mobile application
This weight is partly due to the specifications of this product. With performance up to 2200 W can heat up in just three seconds and start raising the temperature in the room. It can move from 16 to 28 °C and you can adjust its value on the touch LCD display in the upper right part.
They hide in the intestines two graphene rods, which help to warm up quickly. One of the disadvantages of this type of heating is the dryness of the environment. However, this is not the case with the product from Xiaomi, as this smart heater is able to humidify the surrounding space and heat it at the same time.
It also has a certification IP X4 for increased water resistance, for use in the bathroom, for example. There is also remote control from a smartphone thanks to a popular application Xiaomi Home, along with Chinese voice control via the Chinese smart assistant Xiaoao.
Price and availability of the new graphene heater
Smart heater from the brand Xiaomi it will be available for now exclusively on the Chinese market, already in October of this year. The official selling price is at the level 859 Chinese yuan, which translates into about 120 €.
We do not yet have any further information on possible international availability. So we will have to make do with imports through verified international sellers.
