Xiaomi has officially introduced its first smart engraver. You can find it under the brand Mijia and it also has control via a mobile application.

The laser engraver is a very popular device, especially for the creation of various inscriptions or patterns in the creative production of products. Now the company Xiaomi also brings its own model, under the brand name Mijia.
It is this subsidiary brand that specializes in all kinds of smart home devices. And this new engraver, named Xiaomi Mijia Laser Engraving Machine, is no exception and also offers smart features.

If we look at the technical specifications, Xiaomi Mijia Laser Engraving Machine it is equipped with a powerful Sharp laser source (450 nm) with a power of 3 W. Thanks to this, you can use the engraver on various materials, such as leather, wood, canvas, plastic or even kraft paper.
Double focus lens will offer high precision, and engraving with thickness only 0,25 mm. In addition, the device does not require any complicated installation or replacement of ink, etc. A big advantage is intelligent connectivity via a mobile application from the manufacturer. It is through the application that you can engrave selected text, stickers or drawings that you have on your smartphone.
The design of the Xiaomi engraver offers the possibility of height adjustment (it uses a ToF sensor). The equipment also includes a function for fast engraving, which, thanks to the integrated galvanometer, offers up to 4800 mm per second.
Price and availability of the new smart engraver
The novelty comes to the market in China, under the name Xiaomi Mijia Laser Engraving Machine, and will be on sale at the suggested retail price 1399 Chinese yuan. That's what it does in the current conversion approx. 176,50 euros. We do not have any further information about the global availability of the product yet. However, it is possible that we will see a separate version for Europe later, during the year 2024.
