A few weeks ago, the Redmi K30 Pro smartphone designed for the Asian market was introduced to the world. From that moment on, it was speculated when and whether the global version of this smartphone would come in the form of the successor to the legendary POCO F1.
As is already the custom in Xiaomi, bringing rebrended Chinese models to the European market, the Redmi K30 Pro is no exception and we now know that the successor is coming to the European market as LITTLE F2 Pro.
Leaked prices are not pleasant at all
At the time of the presentation of the Pocophone F1 model, the Poco brand belonged to the "wings" of Xiaomi, which also adjusted the price of its products.
For a price of around € 250 / CZK 6, the Poco F804 offered an unbeatable price-performance ratio.
At that time, this smartphone had the most powerful piece from the Qualcomm Snapdragon 845 workshop. At present, we can compare the POCO F1 to some extent to the new iPhone SE 2020.
The "rebirth" brand POCO also confirmed on its official Twitter profile, where it added a post with the hashtag #WakeUpPOCO.

Based on the information from the Portuguese portal 4GNews, we already know the preliminary prices for both POCO F2 Pro configurations. Prices are as follows:
- 6 GB RAM and 128 GB internal storage = ($ 704) 649 € / 17 665 CZK
- 8 GB RAM and 256 GB internal storage = ($ 813) 749 € / 20 386 CZK
It can be seen that the prices of the Poco F2 Pro are probably higher, but the manufacturer justifies them by the sharp rise in prices of the components used in the phone.
The prices quoted were for the Portuguese market, which has other, stricter tax laws. Ideally, the price of the base model can start at 599 €.
This is not a big difference, but a lower price tag will definitely please.
The POCO F2 Pro smartphone (Redmi K30 Pro) will be powered by the latest flagship Snapdragon 865 processor with support for 5G networks.
There will also be a first-class 6,67 ″ Super AMOLED display with HDR10 + support and a refresh rate, unfortunately, only 60 Hz.
According to brand management, the reason for not implementing a higher refresh rate is price. Using 90 Hz, the price tag would be even higher and would border on the prices of today's flagships of well-known manufacturers.
We will honestly monitor the entire situation regarding the global availability of the Poco F2 Pro smartphone and bring the most up-to-date information among the first. You can share your opinion on preliminary prices in the discussion below the article.
