Redmi Pad Pro comes as the best Redmi tablet so far: Snapdragon 7s Gen 2, stylus and 12.1-inch display

The top series of tablets together with original accessories is now also included in the subsidiary brand's portfolio Redmi. Welcome Redmi Pad Pro, with the possibility of expansion by a stand with a keyboard or stylus.

New tablet Redmi PadPro follows up with its design on new Redmi smartphone and also offers a prominently protruding camera module on the back. The dimensions of this device stopped at 280 × 181,8 × 7,52 mm, and the tablet has a very pleasant weight of only 571 grams (without accessories).

The device has 12,1-inch LCD display with a resolution of 2,5 K (2 x 560 pixels), also has Dolby Vision, a high refresh rate of up to 1 Hz and reaches maximum brightness 600 rivets. TÜV Rheinland, in turn, approved the certification for eye protection against blue light. It is also protected by Corning Gorilla Glass 3.

A popular mid-range processor will take care of the performance Qualcomm Snapdragon 7s Gen 2. It is also supplemented with an Adreno 710 graphics chip, 6/8 GB of LPDDR4X type RAM and 128/256 GB of UFS 2.2 type internal storage (expansion with a microSD memory card is also possible).

On the back there is an 8 MPx camera with an LED flash, which you can use, for example, when scanning documents. The camera with the same resolution is also on the front and will be used for video calls.

Multimedia content will be enriched by four speakers. And you can also use the 3,5 mm audio connector for wired headphones.

The construction also offers increased resistance to drops of water and dust, even with IP 52 certification, which is definitely not a given in this category of devices.

There is also the Android 14 operating system. Complete with the HyperOS superstructure from Xiaomi, Wi-Fi 6, Bluetooth 5.2 connectivity or a large up to 10 mAh battery with fast charging via USB-C, with a power of 33 W.

Price and availability of new Redmi tablet

New tablet Redmi PadPro will be sold on the Chinese market in the coming days. Its basic version starts at 1499 yuan (approximately €190).

Three colors will be included in the sale. Specifically dark gray, green and blue. Configurations include a combination of 6 + 128 GB of storage and 8 + 256 GB of storage. Just like with a smartphone Redmi Turbo 3 the manufacturer also included a special Harry Potter edition. However, its price, as well as the price of the original accessories in the form of a keyboard or stylus, is not yet known.
