Xiaomi 12S Pro: MediaTek processor as an alternative?
We should see a new premium device in the coming weeks Xiaomi 12Ultra. Today, however, we know that the manufacturer is also working to launch flagship smartphones Xiaomi 12S a Xiaomi 12S Pro. The 12S series is expected to feature an updated version of smartphones Xiaomi 12 and 12 Pro. These were officially introduced in December 2021.
And since the 12S Pro has already appeared in 3C certification, it seems that minimal Chinese performance is really around the corner. Already in May of this year, three flagship Xiaomi smartphones, codenamed 2203121C, 2206123SC and 2206122SC, were observed in a different CMIIT certification. It should be just mentioned Xiaomi 12 Ultra, 12S a 12SPro.
These are the expected technical specifications
All three smartphones should offer a processor not yet introduced Qualcomm Snapdragon 8 Gen1+. However, it is also speculated that the Xiaomi 12S Pro will also have a variant with a MediaTek processor, namely a model MediaTek Dimensity 9000. This information appeared in the IMEI database under the reference 2207122MC.
This device with a MediaTek processor also appeared in the mentioned Chinese 3C certification. As you can see in the attached photo, there is a model 2207122MC with support for fast 67 W cable charging. However, we have not yet confirmed any other technical specifications.
As for the speculation that has arisen in the context of information leaks, xiaomi 12s pro should contain 6,55 "AMOLED display with Full HD + resolution. There should be three rear cameras on the back, with a resolution 64 MPx. The front should not be missing either 16 MPx front camera, 4500 mAh battery, 67 W charging or Android 12 together with the MIUI 13 extension.
