We already reported in several previous articles that Xiaomi and Redmi they are working on smartphones that will provide top-of-the-line equipment. The latest information discovered in the MIUI 12 code only supports these claims.
In the coming weeks, we should witness the introduction of a new model line of smartphones, about which we only know the specifications of the cameras so far. One way or another, we will see the inflated news soon.
Working name Gauguin
Team member XDA-developers with name kacskrz discovered interesting information in the source code of the MIUI 12 user interface. Apparently, we can look forward to a new model line with the "Gauguin" label.
The Gauguin model line should consist of a basic variant and a PRO version. Working designation of the basic model gauguin should end with J17, ending with gauguinpro version should be J17Pro.
Both smartphones are expected to feature Qualcomm Snapdragon chipsets, and the idea is circulating that they could be the successors to the Mi CC9 and Mi CC9 Pro series, known internationally as the Xiaomi Mi 9 Lite and Mi Note 10.
64 MPx and 108 MPx cameras
The only specifications available are for camera equipment. The weaker sibling should have a main resolution sensor 64 MPx and a more powerful model should be fitted up to 108 MPx photosensor.
The well-known leakster Digital Chat Station says that the equipment of smartphones should be different for the Chinese and international market. We do not yet know to confirm this, but it is assumed that the news should come to the Chinese, Indian and international markets.
It is also anticipated that the models may go on sale as expected Mi MIX 4, but again this information is not known either. We will have to wait a few more days for more details.
