We don't need to introduce the popular MIUI user interface in detail. On Xiaomi smartphones and Redmi it has been working since the beginning and the developers are working hard on its latest version MIUI 12.
It's official: MIUI 12 is coming this year
First information about MIUI 12 arrived in October / October 2019. Now Xiaomi officials have issued an official statement that MIUI 12 is on the way and will be introduced this year.
This information and the new logo you see above are about everything from the information provided to MIUI 12. Currently, some devices are still being upgraded to the final one MIUI 11. It was issued in September / September 2019.
Then a new version brought dark view user interface, new font style "Mi Lan Pro", More customization for ambient display, but also many other graphics and security enhancements.
What will MIUI 12 bring?
What we can expect from the new version of this nice superstructure is not yet known. However, we have reported several improvements in the past that have already appeared in test versions of the software, but have not yet been officially ported.
We mean, for example, the possibility scanning documents with a camera, add function app drawer - menu with applications, improved display calibrationor more efficient audio output setting.
All these features have been revealed in test versions of the software and it is therefore possible that, among other improvements, they may be brought by the new MIUI 12. We also do not know the date or the next release period of the new version of the MIUI. It is more than likely that the manufacturer will prepare the show for the release of one of the new top smartphones.
Development since 2010
As we mentioned in the introduction, the MIUI software superstructure has been with us and Xiaomi devices from the beginning. It is even the first product of the then newly established company Xiaomi in 2010.
It was first introduced on a smartphone Xiaomi Mi 1 in August 2011 in version 2.3. Since then, the company has been constantly updating the software, and looking at the weekly test versions, there could be 444 since then.
Before the official introduction of the new version of MIUI, its test versions will first appear, which will reveal to us what the new MIUI 12 will come with. We will share new information soon.
